We are recruiting a Port Operator (f/m/d) for a prestigious client located in the Sines Port area.

Workload: 40 hours a week - continuous working

Location: Sines Port Zone

Type of work: On-site

Salary: Basic salary + fixed food allowance of approximately €300 + shift allowance.

What tasks does this role involve?

·       Attaching and detaching containers according to operations within the terminal;

·       Ensuring the stowage of material on the ship, quayside and park and its cleaning;

·       Preparing the operation of hold covers taking into account safety procedures;

·       Fixing and removing OH structures, chains, straps, shackles, slings, etc. Or any other equipment needed to carry out the operations;

·       Unlocking containers (on top of the containers on the ship) that are out of reach of operators who are carrying out lashing on board.

·       Lock and unlock all containers on board the ship.

·       Take care of any obstructions that may occur during the operation of the quay crane;

·       Communicate with the quay crane operator by radio or hand signals.

What qualifications do you need?

·       Minimum compulsory schooling;

·       Residence in the Sines area or the possibility of moving to this geographical area;

·       Physical strength (demanding job)
