We are looking for a Cash Collection Lead Specialist to join our team and oversee the Iberian Market. This role is ideal for someone with solid financial expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement within a dynamic, multinational environment.
A day in the life of a Cash Collection Lead Specialist:
- Manage customer and account queries to ensure clean and accurate sales ledger balances.
- Oversee due and overdue balances to maximize on-time payments across all customer accounts.
- Identify and communicate uncollectable debt risks to markets and implement mitigation strategies where possible.
- Supervise collection activities based on market collection strategies.
- Address incoming collection concerns from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate the team’s daily activities and ensure adherence to global compliance standards.
- Implement O2C (Order to Cash) plans and objectives aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and execute action plans to correct deviations and enhance overall service performance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and standardization across all markets within scope.
- Set team goals, evaluate performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
What will make you successful:
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and inspire a team.
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role within cash collection or financial operations.
- Strong background in finance, preferably within a shared services environment.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Adaptability to change and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
